DCS - Cleaning

The cleaning of the DCS is done prior to changing a product, or at the end of a batch.
The frequency of cleaning depends on the type of application as well as on the type of product.

The gloves guarantee easy access to all parts inside the glove box. A spray system in the
upper part of the suction lance allows cleaning the bellows and the suction lance. To do so,
the suction lance has to be in an upper position to make sure that the bellows is taut.

The cleaning of the DCS - Drum Containment System can be done with the help of a specially
developed  cleaning drum. This drum is equipped with a slanted bottom to facilitate the drainage
of the cleaning liquid. A manual drainage valve has been installed at the bottom of the drum.

A connector for the introduction of cleaning liquids into the drum has been installed on the
side of the drum. A second connector allows  to introduce cleaning liquids with a spray gun.
